The room runs smart and elegant, but the focus remains on the kitchen’s creative international approach, which feels far removed from the traditional, heavy-handed tasting menus common in nearby Covent Garden. While many of the area’s storied institutions rely on heritage to pull a crowd, Ikoyi succeeds by ignoring those expectations entirely. It is a more rigorous, singular experience than the grand dining rooms within walking distance, making it the better choice for those who prefer precision over history.
